Blogger.com is a publishing service owned by Google that provides blogging tools for free to Google account holders. You can utilize the many free templates and design elements provided by the service, or create or upload your own .XML templates to upload to your blog.
Here’s how to install a Blogger template you’ve downloaded from another site:
Visit the blogger site.
Log in to Blogger, and on your Blogger Dashboard.
Click the "Design" tab for the blog you want to edit from your list of blogs.
Click on “backup/Restore” button at the top right corner as shown.
Click “Choose File” to upload a template from your hard drive.
Browse for your compatible .XML template and click open.
Click “Upload”.
Now preview your blog and if everything is fine hit 'Save Template' button.
That's it, your new template is live now.
Note:
1. Only .XML templates are compatible with blogger.
2. Save a copy of your current template before installing a new one by clicking “Download Full Template”.
